MEMBERSHIP in the Historical Society of Lee's Summit is open to any interested individual. Membership benefits include access to all research documents; a membership card; and other special considerations. Please click here if you would like to obtain an application form.
The Historical Society of Lee's Summit holds membership meetings on the first Friday of every other even month in the museum located at 220 SW Main Street, Lee's Summit, Missouri. The meetings begin at 6:30. Folks can call 816.287.4477 for more information.

The below Society members will receive additional benefits, including a newsletter; an invitation to special programs; promotions at events; and listed on the HSLS Web site and in various publications.
Graves/Hale Society $200
Dr. Pleasant Lea Society $500
William B. Howard Society $1,000

Musuem Patron $5,000 ($1,000 for 5 years)
- Contributors toward a five-year commitment into the William B. Howard Society will also receive a limited edition framed print of a historic picture each year; be recognized at the museum; and be promoted in all literature in preparation for, during and after the Sesequintenial celebration.
- Recognized estate gifts (both financial and historic artifacts of significance) by individuals, families, or companies will have permanent recognition at the museum as a special contributor.
As an IRS certified 501c3 nonprofit organization, any contribution to the Historical Society of Lee's Summit would be considered a tax deductible expense.
